3 Ducks Psychology is a contemporary private psychology practice offering a unique approach to mental health. Whilst 3 Ducks Psychology has availability for Telehealth sessions Australia wide, we also offer our unique “Walk & Talk” sessions in St Kilda and inner SE suburbs.
What are “Walk & Talk” sessions?
“Walk & Talk’s” came about during COVID when we were all cooped up and needed space but what we also found was they were a fabulous way to help people feel much more relaxed and it was easier to open up than sitting in the traditional office setting facing each other across a coffee table!! So “walk & talks” became a staple of 3 Ducks Psychology practice. We find the fresh air, beautiful scenery of the bay and parks less intimidating and great way to help take the clinical out of therapy. As a bonus you also get some exercise which is brilliant for your mental health-so more bang for your buck, and you are welcome to grab a coffee and bring your furry friend for extra support.
Our aim is to help you get your ducks in a row so you can feel confident to follow your own path into the future.

Leah DodsworthRegistered Psychologist
B. Arts (Hons) Psych and Master Soc Sci (Crim) with Distinction
Leah has been a practising psychologist for 20 years and started 3 Ducks Psychology in early 2018. Whilst trained in a wide variety of therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Autism Spectrum Specific interventions and Trauma Focussed therapies, Leah primarily works from an Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) approach as she feels this is philosophically aligned with her therapeutic values, approach to treatment and in meeting her client’s needs.
She is excited by the future of these emerging treatments involving psychedelics & other non-traditional approaches to mental health to better assist those for whom traditional medical, pharmacological, and psychological therapies have been unsuccessful.
Whilst Leah works with many different psychological disorders, she has a passion for working with our emergency services personnel, first responders and other frontline workers as well as those experiencing complex PTSD from childhood trauma.
